my avatar is rude

a forum member pm'd me and asked if i wouldn't mind removing my avatar because of its graphic nature, and i agreed. i've had this avatar since the beginning and don't even notice it anymore, and it really doesn't reflect my personality or nature, so i was wondering if anyone knows any places to find avatars? maybe of some rotors, or something else that's cool

so please post if you know where to get some cool avatars!

Exactly, **** 'em. I enjoy that avatar of yours. Wish I could do that everyday. I drive a large truck everyday and everyday I have ******** cut me off and then get on their brakes, along with other bad driver etiquette that they perform. I'd say keep it but only change it if YOU feel that it is time for a change, not because of some other person who's too **** over such some stupid thing.

Concidering you are/were going to take it down for one person saying something. I would like you to keep it, I like it and don't find it offensive. And every now and again I smile when I see it.

That's when you let them know about your "chrome horn" on the front of your truck.

And keep the avatar, I like it.

besides, this guy only has a couple hundred posts, and i've never seen him around the first gen section anyways, at least i don't remember him.

THANKS for the support! (except you dufourmike, you're a dork)

changing your avatar because of one persons opinion seems, well, unjust.

it doesnt offend me, then again not all people have a sense of humour which is too bad for them.

Avatars are not to have vulgarity, profanity or pornography in them. Sometimes it comes *damn* close to the line. But because this is a "family and work friendly" website, when we mods get complaints about someone's avatar we politely ask them to change it.

In this case, I haven't gotten any complaints, and I don't find it offensive... so it'll stay for now

But whoever mentioned the lounge is right. The lounge is the part of the site we dedicate for the people who feel they just *have* to do crazy, stupid or borderline things. The main sections serve a purpose and we try to keep 'em clean.

This thread is locked, but remember guys, if offends people (more than one being operative here), it doesn't kill you to change it a bit.
