Thanks guys. I couldn't remember the part number, and the links in my writeup are now defunct. I even searched Summit but wasn't able to find it.

It depends on the carb your using. For a weber or dellorto setup you can get away
with the 6psi pump. Costs the same, so just pick the one that makes the needed
max PSI you'll need.

I believe this is the fuel pump I used on my old setup. Its this one p4070 or p4594

I NEVER used a FPR while I had it on my 13b mikuni 44phh setup. That thing was a quick little thing too.

With the stock carb, you could just get a stock replacement pump. If you want to run a carter pump, I'd get the p4070 if I were you unless you plan to change to a holley carb at some point.

Replace your battery cables before you replace your starter. Chances are, that's where your problem is. Or you could have it tested, but the cables need to be changed anyway unless they already have. Mazda used aluminum cables, which rot internally and stop conducting enough juice to kick the starter into action.
