Panasport durability?

I know a lot of SP, IT, and Spec-7 racers run them.

How many have you bent and what caused the bending?

I don't think I wanna run them my first time out on track, as I'm likely to hit EVERYTHING out there or get hit... (Seeing as how I'll have a fairly shiny lookin vehicle. New car = wreck magnet.)

I run Panasports and have never bent one, I have bent Diamond wheels.

I would run them and not worry about a thing. It will take a good impact with something to bend one or running on it, when flat might also ruin/bend one.

They are tough but light wheels, thats why they are popular in racing.

Are you doing HPDE or a School

Panasport offer Street and Race Only versions of their wheels. Street ones are stronger, due to potholes, and other things daily drivers encounter. I've seen several "race" panasports broken, but those were under extreme conditions, where the car bounced the curbing nd went off the track.

Since the Panasports offer both Street and Race only version, do the Race only versions weigh less and is that why they aren't nearly as strong?

I belive that's correct. Not much info on their website, but I remember the Race Only ones being stamped on the lip RACE USE ONLY or something like that. I've seen the split in half between the lips on either side, and spin the center away from the spokes.
