OVERHEAT Exh. Syst.

Have any of you ever actually been able to get this light to turn on in your first gens? I mean, I know rotaries burn hot, but seriously, how do you overheat an exhaust system? I don't see it come oneven when autocrossing, so I imagine it has to be VERY hot to do so.

haha that one means your break lights aren't coming on. Either from a bad bulb, or faulty connections. If your foot is on the pedal, and the circuit isn't complete, it comes on.

I think the most common cause of exhaust overheating is due to retarded timing. Worth a check...

I had my overheated exhaust light come on right before I heard what sounded like a 12ga shotgun blast. LOL
