over heating problem...still exists.

well, i narrowed it down today, and my step dad helped me find out what my lil problem was...my thermostat is closed shut...and wont open...thus my radiator heats up as soon as the engine is just getting warmed up...so i have to get a thermostat....anyone got one ? ]

i mean, it was way hot in like not even 2 minuets of the engine being ran...and its because of that thermostat..i could just take it out, but i dont wanna leave it out...i would like to put one in there...

Dude.... You can buy one from anywhere. Cheap. Also, If your having a big problem with diagnosis......take it to a mechanic. We.....ummm..... they, are not as expensive as you think.

go to autozone get one for real cheap, pull the old one off and put the new one on there, freakin easy job!!! i would go ahead and replace your hoses too!! i did. i had alot of overheating probs when i first got my girl. i replaced all the hoses (one i found a tiny little bitty hole) then i flushed the radiator, no more probs!

Do you mean to take out the upper block off section, So the string will still work and cause the baypass block off plate to cover the hole?

i have the slightest idea. but when the car is running, the water in the radiator does cycle through..but its just slow...no matter what the temp of the car is...the water cycles so slow...looks like its standing still, but it does move.

cut the arch (where the spring is attached to) and you will end up with the flat round section.
