Our first 7, How does it compare?

Hello all! My wife and I just bought a 1984 RX-7 with the 12A. Nether of us has ever driven a 7, and wanted to see if you all could compare it to another car as far as performance. Its going to be a few weeks before we can drive the car (it sat for 2 years) and I'm getting anxious! I'm most curious about the handeling. I've owned a IROC Z, '94, '96, '99 Vette, ZQ8 Sonoma, Mustang GT, Honda CRX, and have driven a few other "sport cars".

Will it compare to any of the above as far as handling?

Looking foward to burn some 7 rubber,
Ben

Its like a Vette, just without those 8 annoying pistons in the way of fun. Imagine if your CRX was Rear Wheel Drive....and it should be pretty close.
