Only '78-'80 body kit, NOT '81-'85

Like the title says, does anyone know where to get the SA body kit from. Not the abundant FB body kit but the old SA body kit, NOT wide body, just the standard body kit that looks familiar to the FB kit, but made for the stock SA bumpers.

Any one know who makes it or where to get it Erebuni used to sell it. Now they do not.

I wouldnt ditch the SA front bumper, but I do understand the frustration of trying to find the Xenon airdam.

I have posted on here a few times trying to find one for my Spark Yellow project and finally jumped on them when 2 came up on ebay just a few weeks ago. So if anyone was watching those auctions I am the one that grabbed both for $150 plus the mini whale tale for another $50. I am surprised nobody else went after them.

My plan was to have a mold made should anyone or myself for that matter would need any in the future. To my surprise they are both poly eurathane which would make it hard, at least I would imagine, to make a mold due to how pliable it is when not mounted. I know people pop on here all the time looking to sell or make fiber glass parts, if anyone in the Vegas area wants to give it a shot, I have an almost mint one that would serve as a good plug.

I saw those on eBay, and I was going to bid, but the seller had local pick up only and he wasn't in my area so I didn't bother

I am sure that kept alot of people from bidding. It did say in the details of the auction he would ship if someone was willing to pay what it costs. It wasnt cheap, $160 to ship. Regardless though, total out the door was $360 for 2 airdams, one near mint as described and the whale tail which wont be that much work to fix the few flaws. Money well spent in my book.

Like I mentioned, I will be looking for someone to make a mold using the near mint one for future use.

^ That is exactly what I was looking for!!! You cannot tell me that doesn't look sexy?!! <--- Only if my fiance didn't mind, I would make love to that SA. That looks better than the FB body kit IMHO.

If you could find someone to make a mold, I would defiantly buy one. It would just be nice if there was a mold of the complete body kit (like the one on choopacabra530 car) that someone could start to remake again.

I will keep an eye open for places that could make a mold down the line. I know it wont be a money making process, nor do I expect it to be so I am in no rush.

Its funny, I saw the above white car on craigslist around a month ago. I asked the seller then if he was interested in parting with just the Airdam, never got a reply.

I love the way the front end looks, but the skirts and rear are a bit much. They look too "flat" against such a rounded side. I'd be all about getting the air dam, but I'll skip the sides and rear.

I can see your point about the whole kit itself, my brother said the same thing. If you look at the green SA at the top it has just the front end on it only. It kind of reminds me of an old mans beard. lol

My big thing is that I always wanted my first gen to look like it was meant to be built that way. I couldn't do that but I could accent the body lines down and the front air dam down. I haven't been able to bring myself to change the body of the car.

This is the front spoiler for my sev, took the wing of the back for a clean look. I agree with the idea you have to have bigger wheels to pull off kits on first gen sevs.
