'81 had a S, GS, and GSL. I don't remember where I found that, but I copy and pasted that into my file of RX-7 facts.
The GSL has limited slip diff and 4 wheel disc brakes. I'm having a brain fart and don't remember anything else.
Sorry, but the truth is out there.....*X-Files theme plays in the background*

Here is some info that I have collected from around the internet, and through some books.

Car Options
Yr Model

Lug Patterns
Other Models lug pattern 4x110
GSL-SEs are 4x114.3 a.k.a. 4x4.5" offset +40mm
Offset it means the mounting face of the rims is 40mm outward from the center line of the rim
Hope that is helpful in some way, and if anyone sees any discrepancies, let me know and I will edit my file. (That was a copy and paste, I didn't just type all that.)
