OMP opperate while cranking?

Ok just replaced the old cracked lines with some clear teflon lines. they have the same ID and OD as the stock ones.

now i could never see inside the old lines so i dont know if oil would flow while cranking, but with the new line i dont see any oil in the lines while cranking, and i have yet to get the car running to see if it will flow at idle and when reving.

do i need to prime the lines?

Just start the engine and watch the lines, you should be able to see them fill at idle. It won't take long at idle for the oil to reach the carb.

does the oil fall back down when there is no pressure?

I am getting 30psi while cranking.

i guess i might just have to wait till i get the fuel tank back in, and the new fuel pump in to get it running.

If you mean the oil in the mop lines, then no, the oil should remain in the lines while sitting.

When you get everything back together, fire it up and let it idle until the oil reaches the carb. You should be fine.

Try manualy lifting the lever arm to see if it actualy increases the bubble in front of the oil flow in the lines. My guess is that the speed won't increase very much.
