OMP lines 2 into 1

i have a 51IDA with a single inlet for the OMP lines, i dont want to use a Y to go from 2 into 1 as it will seperate the lines and look messy, i was going to get a small block of ali drill a hole 6/8th down the end 2 holes in the side tap and put bleed nipples in there to split the 2 into 1 for the carb,
has anyone else done anything like this or oversome the problem a different way?
thanks
Mark

i use a vac fitting that's in the shape of an "F", coming right off the OMP, then a single line to the carb.

You need a MOP line to each rotor for lubrication. If your intake only has one nipple, then it's most likely for vacuum, not metered oil.

rxtasy3, I hope hope your mop line is going to the primary fuel bowl, otherwise you're not getting the needed lubrication.

Doesn't your Weber have separate fuel bowls for each rotor? If so, then you need a MOP feed line to each one, otherwise one rotor gets lubed and the other one runs dry. I haven't worked with a 51 mm IDA but if it's set up like the other Webers I've worked on, they have a fuel bowl and float for each rotor.

As far as the fancy 'F' barb, I've found those at the autoparts stores.
