Cool thanks man i owe you one, someone needs to unban me for the wrongs that i never done.

Ok Ive had my first gen for about a month now and have got it running alright. And i really dont like all of this body kit huge wing and stuff like that. I like that way the car looks stock but it can always be imporved. Like is there ne old school racing bod parts for sale you know the stuff that just looked good back in the 70s 80s circuit racer. I mean like a cowl hood I saw once it was pretty cool or this thing that made the back of the hood sit higher than the front. And what about the pocket flares.

Do you guys know what im talkng about. At all.

i like there kits it s just mot what im talking about

Like the old road race cars simple and almost stock with a racy feel to it. You know low slung pocket fender flares wide tires front and rear. like watanabes or something along that line for wheels about a 14 or 15 rim that is like 10in wide. Just the real old race car feel. Kinda like the fc on mariahs home page just an fb. not to flashy but ull know its something if you know your stuff

Well, with wide flares, I still think they'd look good with some deep dish Cragers. That's just me though.

I think that mariah has the old school look but that is just my opinion. It sounds like you want to go with a 3 piece wing and fender flares. Thatwould look pretty good.

the hood thing your talking about can easily be done yourself. just relocate the latch an inch or so up.

I have the 2 3pcs wings, IMSA wing and a set of fender flares from CP Racing, they said the flares were a exact match for the 1st Gen but they were unmarked and don't fit the way I think they should fit. So I decided to get the skirts and then trim the bottom of the flares to meld in with the skirts thus eliminate the problem area at the bottom of the flares. Whenever I get the skirts and do the install I will post pics. I feel the same way about the old school look. If I had the money and the shop I would start making my own parts and sell them.
