Everytime recently when I shut off the car, I get a weird moan type sound for about 1/2 second. You know, when you turn the key off, the RPM's drop, the engine goes bbbbbmmmmm, and the shifter shakes just a little. Normal...but right at the end of the bbbbbbmmmmm, there is a tone almost like a slightly higher-pitched defined owl "hoo". Doen anyone know what I'm talking about, or is my car trying to speak?

 

at least it dosnet explode when you turn it off..


this happend to me (not literally)

but i turned my car off... started waking to the house and BOOOOOM an huge flameball came out my tailpipe...

It's probably just your clutch, i had a friend that's car did that.

 

True, it does sound like it coming from my clutch. Did your friends clutch blow soon after that sound?!?

 

No, it was right when he put in a brand new racing clutch.
