ok ok ok ...

i'm the one that has been having rediculous problems with my car taking forever to start and fouling the **** out of my plugs. well, rx7carl mentioned something about hitting the part where the fuel lines come together. well i did that and changed my air filter. WOOT, it cranked RIGHT UP!. and again and again. then, this morning... nope. :-( mainly because i think my spark plugs are so god damn fouled; after only 2 WEEKS!!!! THEY WERE NGK!!!!! sooo, today i got a new set of plugs, but before i did that i thought maybe it could be a compression problem?? so i did the 'ol atf deal, but with a very very small amount and i cranked it up right after i poured it in. smoked like hell then cleaned up. i let her warm up and then took off. did about 20 redline runs and when i did, i noticed she pulled harder than ever!!!!!! i brought her back and parked. shut her off and now i'm here. tomorrow morning i'll put the new plugs in and pray she just cranks right up! what do you guys think? could that have been an issue????? i still havent checked my timing. but this issue just started a little bit ago out of nowhere. :/ thx guys

I never did the ATF thing on a 12a I built, I did on a junkyard 12a I revived. IT DOES make a big difference if the seals/springs were sticking. It went from not being able to start it, to building enough comrpession to make it go like new afterwards. Yeap, its good to go to new spark plugs after completing this treatment. I am sure it will start right up for ya.

i hope so if it doesnt then i guess i'm gonna have to call ROTORSPORTS here in NC. i dont know jack about carbs except i want mine to quit forkin me over. or maybe it's not the carb. thanks though, i'll post how it goes tomorrow.
