Ok, you have one piece that bolts to the tranny, and one piece that bolts to the car (crossmember), and the piece that bolts to the tranny sits (no bolts) on the piece that bolts to the car (crossmember). Is this right? Or are they bolts that go through the crossmember into the tranny? I dont even know how to explain what Im asking, so Im sorry if you dont understand. I just dont know how its supposed to mount, and its pissing me off cause Im sure I have it wrong...

The way it works. The tranny bolts to the transmision mount. The transmision mount bolts to the cross member. The cross member bolts to the car.

Ok, cause when I pulled the crossmember from my 84 GS, I only took out two bolts, one on either end of the crossmember, and it fell out right into my hands. So I assumed that nothing else was needed...Apparently I am missing some bolts or something then...Damn.

That means you had a bad tranny mount, hard to figure out that one huh? The tranny mount has two "ears" that is were it attaches to the transmission, Then there are the two studs on the other side that go through the crossmember.
