oK I NEED YOUR GUYS HELP DECIDING ON WHAT SPRINGS TO BUY.......
Between Racing Beat or Suspension Techniques? I have heard everyone rave about racing beat (and eibachs as well.. though eibach have discontinued their springs manufacturing for the 1st gen) and i know they sell Suspension Techniques Springs on MAzdaTrix and Black Dragon. This 7 is my daily driver with the soon to be occasional Autocrossing once my suspension has been upgraded. I am defiently going with Tokico Blues for the shocks/struts. What would you guys choose?

How heartstrong are you for the autocross? I wish I knew who supplied the stiffer springs. And, doesn't ReSpeed offer Eibach springs? I could've sworn they sold a spring kit.

Go for these. I've always been a fan of Eibach. You should do well with these.

Marcello, hit me up on AIM. I will get you in touch with the guy that sold me the Eibachs for Dana's Srt-4. He said he can get the Eibachs for the Rx-7 for just a little bit more than what I paid, and I only paid 189 shipped for hers.

Eibach's are progressive, not sure about the RB's but they should be linear, the ST's are linear. What does that mean, well, the progressives start with a soft spot to soak up the little bumps, then move to full stiffness. Linears have the same spring rate all the way through.
Now, if you want adjustability between street and track, go coilovers. ReSpeed just put them up on thier site tonight. Couple those with adjustable shocks, you can do some suspension tuning.

Been a while since I've looked at them. My understanding on the Eibachs is there are 2 different sets availible and the Pros are supposed to be progressive. I have the Pros on both the 1st and 2nd gen.
Since I'm sure you have read up on them more recently than I have, I'll defer to your information as being correct.

Wow, I had a set of Eibachs I was going to run but let them go with a shell I sold. Wish I had a known.
BTW OOT, what did you end up with? I run ST springs with tokico blues... but don't think I could daily drive it around here... but my God it handles great. I also run ST sway bars... and even when I'm on the stock size 205-60-14's HTR-200's it's like a fly on trap paper, stuck.

Yea bro sorry you got that backwards. The St's are progressive. Ok for a DD but dont get them Marcello if you wanna autox. I ran one autox with them and the handling was crap. Ok for the street though. The Eibach pros have deadwound coils which allows ride height and corner weighting by trimming coils without changing spring rate (real good feature). Having driven my IT7 car on the street (only for a week, it was a killer) with 400#+ fronts and 200#+ rears I think youd be good with the Eibachs or the RB springs. Thats what Im looking for for my DD build. Shame the Eibachs are no longer made. I may just end up using trimmed stock springs.

marcello-- i have ST and eibach. i bought my eibachs off ebay. you better look quickly there to see if you can find them. i hate hearing their discontinued, but thats how it goes. so i guess ill hold on to mine for a while esspecially since theyre quarenteed for 1,000,000 miles i think. if i were you id go with ST. i had RB in the past and it didnt lower the car at all. plus ST is progressive so itll be a nice ride around town when youre cruising and then get stiffer when you autox. theyd also look a lot better with those new wheels youve got. my SA had the ST on it when i first got it and i LOVED the stance it had. i love the stance the eibachs have given it. if you can scrounge up a little more money id also get a set of illuminas from respeed. if you get illuminas, id get eibach. if you get HP id get ST.
