need a better discription of the leak it help. i get it's on the pass side down low but what is apt? a pic would help. as for the signal cancel, it's behind the steering wheel. it's probably broke and not turning with the wheel.

apt = likely, liable, or capable... root word of "aptitude," actually

Turn signal return to neutral is usually a broken cam. You would need to remove your steering wheel to replace it. Local Mazda dealers should still have stock.

As for your leak, Oil metering pump perhaps?

I'll 2nd that ^ the leak is probably the oil metering pump, gasket, or lines. It could be the front cover gasket or dowel pin o-rings, but I'd check out the OMP first.

It should be accessible from the top, if you don't mind leaning over the fender to do it. Check the lines running to/from it first, they just pop off so its pretty simple.

what i would do is thoroughly clean teh area where you suspect the leak is coming from and then take the car for a short drive and reinspect the area. chances are that its the front cover gasket that has failed. common leaks in that area are faulty oil metering pump lines or omp gasket..
