apt = likely, liable, or capable... root word of "aptitude," actually

Turn signal return to neutral is usually a broken cam. You would need to remove your steering wheel to replace it. Local Mazda dealers should still have stock.

I'll 2nd that ^ the leak is probably the oil metering pump, gasket, or lines. It could be the front cover gasket or dowel pin o-rings, but I'd check out the OMP first.

Sounds like these guys have already got you covered. Best of luck Bob. :)

OK on the pump ,now to find the darn things bolts. From top or bottom of the carr?? sorry about the apt thing, its the way I talk. Thanks for the help. Bob

It should be accessible from the top, if you don't mind leaning over the fender to do it. Check the lines running to/from it first, they just pop off so its pretty simple.

Where in Jackson are you? I live in Dexter and could take a look at things for you.
|
what i would do is thoroughly clean teh area where you suspect the leak is coming from and then take the car for a short drive and reinspect the area. chances are that its the front cover gasket that has failed. common leaks in that area are faulty oil metering pump lines or omp gasket..
