oil pressure and temp gauge (new)

Last night i took out the OP switch cuz she was leaking. I have a brand new set of autometer gauges ( oil & temp ) from my small block years and i figured i'd put them in my 7. It came with plastic line ( should i get the brass type line or use the plastic?). Also the temp gauge came with a 1.5 in tip and it won't fit into the radiator. Any other place to put it? Pics of gauge setups would be great for ideas.

You can tap a new hole in the back of the wp housing for the temp gauge. If the op sender is 1/8"npt, then you can cut the musroom off of the stock op sending unit, flush with the bottom of the mushroom and tap the remaining piece for the sending unit. The op gauge needs to read at least 100 psi.

I'm running the plastic line in mine, just don't kink it.

Are you looking for gauge setups or sending unit setups? Here's what I'm working on for the gauges:
