oil pressure

hey guys i just spent and hour searching for information regarding oil pressure, my pressure gauge in my gsl se is reading almost nothing. could it be a bad gauge? or worse? i need help!!! its my first 7 and i just got her on the road but im afraid to drive it cuz of the freakishly low oil pressure.

Did you check/clean up the connection to the sensor below the oil filter?

check the sensor under the oil filter...in most cases there the following

1. Dirty
2. Disconnected
3. Wire is broken, or sliced up
4. or in some rare cases the sensor is not working properly and needs to be changed...
