Question oil press.

Would a plugged or partly plugged oil sensor cause thee pressure to read low ? mine stands at 30.

Normal oil PSI range: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...hmentid=121560

Ok, how many times do I have to post that the senders go bad in these ALL THE TIME? Just go get another one from a junk yard for $5 if yours isnt working right and try that, or if you have the big bucks, go get one from the parts store for $60 and call it good. If its not working, it needs to be replaced, even if it is only clogged IMO.

Youre welcome

I HIGHLY doubt that its a problem with your engine creating pressure. I would say that its the sender. I went through 3 in my 83 because I kept getting used ones (too broke for a new one). Ive had one die at least once in all 5 of my RX-7s.

First try to clean the electrical connector first. It gets covered in oil and can make a bad contact.
