On my 1979 12A RX-7 the oil lines are very brittle.
One of the oil lines from the OMP to the engine has broken.
I would like to replace all the lines.
What is the Size, Material, Type of clamps and quantity of tubing and clamps required?
Where can the materials be purchased most economically?

there's an old thread somewhere that mentions using some teflon type tubing from Granger.

I just took some clear fish tank tubing thats the same size diameter. This way it's cheap and you can see if it's getting oil to the carb! It works great.

I was able to patch the broken line with a one inch long section of rubber line similar to the rubber lines the factory used at the connections to the OMP and to the carb.
The fix will be with polyethylene tubing rated for 140psi at 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Fifteen feet for $3 at Tractor Supply Co.
The bends are made with a heat gun, but a hairdryer will work in a pinch.
Note that there are half as many junctions compared to the factory setup with the rubber ends and the roughly one inch radius of bend compares well with the factory nylon tubing. This is on an SA, so it only has two lines but the method should work on others as well. Note that if you can get Oetiker clamps locally or can wait for mail order, that would be ideal, however the copper wire twisted as shown will work just fine. Hope this will help someone out.
