Hey guys,

For those of you who remove your oil metering pump and premix, how much oil do you use per tank? Also has anyone use Petit's Protek? Is their prescribed 4oz per tank enough to replace the oil metering pump?

Ive been using 1oz per Gallon of gas for almost 2yrs. I just removed that engine do to coolant seals leaking. The rotors have almost no carbon deposits!

 

so, to us canadians, thats about 1/3 of a quart of oil per tank, give or take?

 

I use about a 100:1 ratio with the weber...
