Oil metering Line leak??

Hey all,

I have a S4 NA 13b in my '85 GS FB.

I noticed that the replacement oil metering lines are starting to leak through the rubber. Since my Edelbrock 600 does not have oil metering, i have it wired open to 10'O clock position.

I am not going to beat a dead horse with the whole "what should I do for oil" but i am thinking maybe since I'm using Valvoline VR1 non synthetic 20/50 racing oil do you guys thing that due to the thickness of it it might be too thick to travel through the Om lines?

In closing, does anyone have any ideas to throw at me to make a set of new lines ?

thanks much,

~Tim
