I think that most of us (about 75-80% roughly) continue to use the stock Mazda Factory oil injection system. Unless you want to premix with 2-cycle oil at every fillup, using the stock system is a simple, predetermined, and reliable means of keeping the engine well-lubricated without too much interaction from the driver.

When the OMP starts to go, or you have problems with too much oil flow (smoke), then you might want to consider pre-mixing, and/or going with some other system. For most of us, the stock system works great and doesn't require any additional thought. I trust it,

that is what i want to do, i was thinking about getting a carbspacer and drilling two holes in the front and tapping them then screwing in some kind of fittings then running an oil line to to each fitting, having the holes positioned where oil drips down both sides of the manifold and lube the front and rear rotor, but not sure how to connect the injection metering rod that works with throttle linkage.

they have oil thingies for the holley. they replace the float check screw. i ended up just tappin the manifold with a couple of injector thingies. don't know what they are called obviosly. but it works great. what you wanna do will work great also. puttin a inch spacer is a good idea anyways. they are the brass lookin thingies.
