oil everywhere! please help

i have an 84 gs. the engine only has about 30,000 miles on it but it is allready covered in oil. it is mostly on the drivers side. i believe it is leaking from the seals under the oil cooler but i'm not sure.is this a commen problem? would this be hard to fix? where would i need to get new seals for this? please help me with any information you can give me. thanks.

It is very common, you will need to replace the o-rings on the oil cooler. better yet, get an oil cooler from a series 2 car (81-83). you would have to custom mount it, but its a lot better than the behive

The modification you want is '79 thru '82 US made Rx-7, with the air to oil cooler.

Parts needed:
Short radiator
Oil pedestal (2 new oring)
Oil cooler with mt. brackets
Oil cooler hoses, short and long
Radiator shroud for short radiator
Rubber cap with clamp to plug t- outlet port.
2 or 4 crush washers for hoses..

If your tall radiator is NEW then you will want to with a GSL-SE oil cooler and mt. it in front of the radiator.

Not hard to do, just look at a donor car.
