OIL to DCOE and questions for the rich
I've got a 12A with a Mazdaracing.com 45mm carb kit.
The kit was more like an intake, filter, and carb. Nothing to mount anything, nothing to mod throttle linkage, and nowhere to connect the oil lines? I did get a nice T-Shirt and some carb mount bolts for my complaint. I mis-int the term "kit". Although 2 other "kits" came as comlete kits model specific.
I really don't want to pre-mix. I want to mount the stock lines. Does anyone sell a top cover for the DCOE with inlets for stock oil pump??? Or a How To for a backyard machinist to mod?
Question for those rich in parts? I need a eme brake cable stop. It mounts to the rear caliper by one bolt and looks like a L, where the cable housing stops and cable meets the actuation lever on caliper. This is a .25 cent item....I failed to remove when I sent my calipers away as core for rebuilds...

I wish I had bought the Mazdatrix one.

hrm... sidedraft, right? i've got a dellorto 48 which is similar. on mine, there were some unused cap fittings right before the carb attaches to the intake manifold. i replaced them with threaded nipples(heheh) and ran the oil lines to them. or you can drill and tap a couple fittings into your intake manifold itself(off the car of course, one for front rotor, one for rear). to get the oil lines to reach properly, i used silicon tubing. the tubing is easily found in hobby shops that carry nitro RC cars(nitro fuel tubing) and it's super cheap.

I agree, my 45mm Weber that I got from Mazdatrix has the oil lines mounted in the intake. The only thing that sucks on mine is the cheap *** sheet metal throttle bracket, it flexs way to much!.

Oil Injection Mod
Can Anyone email me a photo of the fitting mod into either the carb or intake.
I think intake would be O.K. But will the meterig pump handle the vaccum pressure? are there on way fittings or simple alum straw?
Any help is appreciated.

I am thinking of buying a carb from them, but sounds like you need to hassle them to get what you want ha?
SO it would be in best interest to call and ask that they will include a throttle linkage, oil metering linkage and rod, and metering fittings in the carb, correct? And if they don't send it back because they ly'd to you?

They never actually said that
I assume Kit meant Kit. It was priced about $35 less than the complete Kits offered elswhere.
I still can't find Plugs for the vac holes on the Intake, nor anyway to convert to oil feed. I did find linkage for $15. Nothing from the stock car is usable.
Lesson Learned.

One thing I didn't mention above was the horrible casting of the intake manifold. I spent hours smoothing the runners out with my Dremel.

According to them "no one in their right mind runs the OMP setup''
My mikuni does have a bracket, fittings and a rod linkage and it seems fine for more then 35000miles so it appears to me they are full of it. I will give them a email and see what they say to running OMP.
I would buy the carb from mazdatrix, but they don't sell 48 or 50DCO from what I see on their website which is what I need. ..have a bridgeport ya see....

Old [Sch|F]ool
Fast Freddy's sells them too.
http://www.rotaryracing.com/ff_ind_carbs.htm
$375 for a 45DCOE, $480 for a 48DCOE, $489 for a 50DCO/SP. They also have 48IDFs for $440 but I don't know if they even make a manifold for them.

They also have a 45DCOE kit.
