Question Oil cooler repair

How hard is it to repair an oil cooler such as fins and end caps. I did a search nothing came up on repair any help would be great and also what type of shop could perform such repair thanks

a good radiator shop can help. On the fins and things. of need to be welded good luck. I found a local that does it but i am not impressed he fixed 2 out of 3 of my coolers.

yeah, you need a good eye to see the cracks..paid one welder, it still leaked ,,,he missed a crack...I finally bought a used one that did not leak...I still have my cracked one...I guess it can be welded ,,if you find some one good...

Make sure they thoughly clean all oil from the surface to be welded and use electrical welding not stick.
