Oil Cooler Questions

So I learned that the oil cooler lines were leaking on my GSL-SE. I bought a steel braided set from mazdatrix and went to change them and learned that not only were the lines bad but there is a crack where the lines thread into the oil cooler as well. My question is has anyone had any luck repairing this or should I not waste my time. I have an S5 oil cooler laying around. would this fit in its place. I really dont want to buy a new oil cooler if I dont have to.

THanks

Use the search button. The process of having this crack welded up has been covered many times before.
