oil cooler core leakage

hello-
im restoring a 79 I bought with my grandfather and we seemed to have stumbled upon a oil leak in the core of the cooler. Oil seeps out through a hole and the fan sprays it all over the engine. Is it possible to fix that by taking it to a radiator repair shop, or do i have to buy a whole new one?

No a radiator shop won't unless they have a tig, or mig welder on hand. the oil coolers crack all the time. be sure not to over tighten the fittings when re-installing the cooler.
