Oil?
I just bought a 82 from this guy and it still runs i think it just might need a water pump. the body is really rough so i might just use it as a donor car. since my back glass shattered somehow. but i checked the oil in the 82 and it looked and smelled like there was gasoline mixed in the oil? how is this possible? when i drained out the oil it was very watery looking but was gas because u could smell it..i was wondering why gas would mix with the oil??? i might decide to do body work on that car and eventually drive it cuz according to they guy the motor was strong...he never drove it for 2 yrs though so yeah. idk...

Gas in the oil usually means that the car has carb. or low compression issues causing flooding. When the engine gets flooded some of the excess gas will get into the oil. this could be caused by problems with the carb. which a carb. rebuild would fix or it could be caused by low compression in the engine which a decarbonizing treatment might fix but most likely would take an engine rebuild to do it right.
