Odd noise and feel

I own a GSL-SE and I'm currently restoring it/ enhancing it to high performance/ I hear a weird sound from the power steering pump, sounds like a low groan. I'm also experiencing a very hard time steering. My steering linkage is rusty but not corroded however I'm looking into replacing it or cleaning it and seeing if it's salvageable.

I don't know where to get a new driveshaft, I want to replace the drive assembly with new parts. My exhaust is in bad shape, is it worth changing my fuel injectors? if so what injectors fit in my egi?

After I fix the exhaust which is my main concern because I live in CAli. would the 2" pipes be useful even when I turbo my engine? I have a greddy 204 something, it's small and I bought it for 500 bucks with intercooler, blowoff valve, I know I have to custom fit everything but will it supply enough power? I keep reading that the T-04 will fit and it's the only one that'll fit well into my engine. I have great internals, going to dissmantle everything once I get all my parts in order, however, is the 2" tubing that should fit as an oem replacement be fine? I know the 6 port needs to have back pressure to use the 6 ports but with turbo, is 2" ok or too much pressure.

I can think of a couple of things that may arise but what's wrong with it now is the
exhaust and I hope that'll be the answer to some of my cold start problems. Oh yeah, I turn the car on, it idles poorly, I accelerate for a min, turn it off, turn it on until it gets warm. I keep thinking it's other stuff, I know that it may be the idle however I adjusted it but I'm not sure what to use, I've simply been idling my engine by feel, I thought I got it right but I didn't. Hmm, well it runs good a high speeds though I hope it's just the exhaust. Ok I'm rambling now so I'll stop and rethink some more, any useful links will be awesome. I have tons of links on my tool bar already such as racing beat, rotary performance, pace setters, k sport, pineapple racing which is no longer user friendly due to a dispute over something, blah blah. Just to let everyone know what my applications are for the car, drifting, rally once I get more money, and show.

AHH!!! I wish I had more money so I could just buy materials and tools to fabricate all my things. AH!!

with the injectors.. I would try to find some more stock ones if I remember correctly their are 680cc from Mazda...and if they are clogged I would get them fixed.. I would also change the fuel filter once you clean the injectors.. About your power steering pump, I think its time for a new one, that would cause more difficulty in steering.. Is the drive shaft bad??? Just because it looks old doesnt mean its not bad... And if your short on money I wouldnt go spending it replacing parts that work just fine IMO. Thats about all that I would know, I'm not to familar with the turbos sorry... Hope this helps and someone correct me if I may have made a mistake with the info..

You are going in way too many directions at the same time, lol.

Did you check the fluid level of the P/S pump? The belt tension?

You have not described what your poor starting problem is.
When you first start a Se when it is cold, you depress the pedal to the floor and then you release the pedal. This engages the cold start system on the T/body. Then you crank the engine.
I recommend you forgot all the other things until you get familar with the car.
If there is no evidence of the plugs, cap and rotor being replaced then inspect them. Good chance they are due for service.
It would behoove you to look through the FAQ section. There is a ton of information that is beneficial.

A. have you checked your fluid

I don't know where to get a new driveshaft,

A. http://mazdatrix.com/g9.htm but if your putting a turbo on your car i would upgrade to a Turbo II tranny which you will need a custom lenght drive shaft

My exhaust is in bad shape

A. go to rx7.com and get a cat and cat back from him, you ll be able to pass smog with his cats

is it worth changing my fuel injectors? if so what injectors fit in my egi?

A. not sure if its worth it or not but i think that greddy are pretty cheap. or you can send the ones that you have off to be cleaned.
