hades12 or anyone else who might know.

this might sound like a stupid question but how much paint did you use to paint your car?

Gave it to my son who got his license a few months ago but in stock condition. He learned how to drive on a 5-speed.

I used 1/2 gallon to paint the car and still have a Small bit left. This was two coats on the car.

Would have been just barily enough if I had shot the under hood and door jambs.

that paint code sheet has been very helpful. my only concern was the listing of L6 which is listed as "royal blue". the brochure for the 85 RX-7 i have states the color as "ocean blue metallic". i wonder if in canada the color was listed as royal blue....

Bought it to sale. I have a 79 and my wife has an 83 LE so one more on insurance is not really something I want to do.

I am tempted to make it a Demo car for my Audio shop.

Thanks I am glad I did a good job painting it, I was really worried that I would screw it up somehow.

Interior is Brown leather, but in bad shape.

It was the Blue. So I just kept the factory color. I have to say it is a very striking color and everyone that sees it has had good thing to say about it.
