Pictured is the Sterling Carb model (with choke linkage)
All moded carbs come with
Please note that the choke needs to be specifically requested. The presence of the choke linkage does hamper the ease of jet changing while tuning for performance. The flow impedance has yet to be determined.
Estimated fuel consumption is 12.5-14 MPG when jetted for performance with mechanical secondaries.
At last test with an earlier design, flow was charted at 429 cfm with the stock Nikki flowing 313 during the same testing trial (courtosy Rx7Carl).

Cheap (PM for price if interested) plus a decent core carb*.
This is the best bang for your buck carb wise. With a ported manifold, this carb will deliver the high end of a Weber and the low-mid of a Holley.
I don't have dyno numbers. We have'nt gotten that far yet.
(This is no "quit your day job" endeavor. We make just about zip for the time we put in between building and R&D. It's a side gig for us.)
"Why should I get one over a Holley or whatever?"
Because this carb is much more tuneable than a Holley.
You can tune this carb to behave like an econocarb, fullout WOT lovin' Weber, or a sraight-line power curve to deliver maximum power all the way up to redline.
If you don't want to play with air correction jets, and are happier with "whatever they say is best for the masses", then get a RB Holley. (...for more money!).
And if you don't like it, I'll give you your money back! (Limited 30 day money back gaurantee)
*(Send me a piece o' ****, and I can't afford to spend the time to dress it like the one pictured- it's that simple. Pick out a junkyard carb as if you were going to clean it up and put it on your pride and joy yourself.
Rant over. It's just that you guys should see some of the **** people have sent us!)

Hey how the F. do you get the round things out? Yeah i've no idea what they're called they are the primaries and secondaries i guess?? Anyways when I was rebuilding my carb I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get those out, I undid the screws on top and they wouldn't budge.. I'm going to be doing the carb on my other car and I want to do a better job on that one and I am going to take everything out and get every speck of dirt off.....

Sterling,
This might be a little off topic, but just wanted to know how my stocker rebuild was going? Any progress as of late?
Looking at those Sterling Carb pics I'm kinda kicking myself now. :-) Maybe I should've saved a little more and gotten one. They look AWESOME. Great job on them.

As a matter of policy, we don't discuss individual accounts on the open forum.
General inquiries are fine, but specifics of an individual job and anything regarding it once the transaction takes place won't be discussed out in the open.
Just Email me.
BTW, Jamie, you can always upgrade your order as long as you do it before it's sent out.

...Just click the RX7CARL or STERLING button to email one of us.
Ask whatever you like. A list of carb services will be sent upon request, along with packing, mailing, and payment preferences.
Delivery times may vary depending on how busy we are.
That's the primary reason I don't want to discuss individuals' jobs in the open.
Here's a scenerio where I would look bad, not by my own fault, but without explaination, everybody would read it and say "WTF", scratch their heads, and be wondering if were for real;
I'm working on three carbs.
I've also been talking to Dave, Ralph, and Roy via email about possible carb orders.
Tom emails me and orders a carb, asking how long it will take. I'm concerned about the other "possible" orders and getting behind, so I say "10-12 weeks" to be safe. Tom reluctantly agrees and sends me a carb and money.
Meanwhile, Dave and Ralph back out saying it's not for them, and Joe says he'll do it later.
But George asks me on the forum how long it will take, and now that I don't have the other three orders lined up, and I've got one of the original three I was working on complete, I tell him the wait will be 6-8 weeks.
Tom reads this and gets all bent out of shape, and replies to the post to start bitching that I told him 12 weeks.
Everybody reads this and says "WTF?!" to themselves.
I've said it before on this forum, using Yaw as an example-
It takes a while to build up a good reputation. But people love to read dirt, and if someone's not happy with your work or business deal, and they voice it on the forum, even if you resolve it publicly, it leaves a mark.
That's why I offer the money back warrantee. Aside of being confident that people will be happy with our carbs, I want to be sure to avoid a mess.
...I want to be a rotorhead more than a businessman.
I think Carl feels the same way.

On behalf of Carl and myself, I gotta say thanks for all the compliments. TJ, too?! I didn't you'd ever think of a Nikki carb with desire!
A bit of testing to see what needs to be done (if anything) for blowthru application, and we'll be able to give the thumbs up for that.

I suppose you could take it up with a moderator if you take exception to the post.
