not wanting to repost, but another thread about steering upgrade

im wanting to build my SA right. take it slow and go all out, i havent quite decided on an engine setup yet though. ive been pondering steering upgrades. i WONT deal with CP. i have a friend that needs a lot of their porducts but i told him not to even bother with it cause they just suck(not the products, the people). i have searched and read a lot of the info on what people have done or contimplated(crx, mustang, GTI, 2nd gen subframe...). have anyone come up with a solution to the problem yet? is there any way to use the 2nd gen without a subframe swap? i will already have the 4 piston calipers as i am in on the group buy. any solution out there yet? thanks.

using a mustang rack, swap LEFT to RIGHT the pieces where the ball joint conect and fab your own mounts seems to be the best way to go. Go over to http://www.torquecentral.com/forumdi...?s=&forumid=11 and ask around, there are, I believe, at least two that have done this.

With all of the years on the SA/FB and all of the enthusist, WTF do we not have a universally (sp) accepted solution yet? It's, almost, universally understood that the stock setup is pure ***.
