for the past couple of months, my 82 hasn't been running right at all. It pulls really sluggishly from low rpms, has a half-decent midrange and then will lose almost all power at 5,000rpm and then creep up to redline. However, it does this 3/4 of the time. Every once in a while, it will start up and rev like a champ. I can only think of a couple things that might be wrong:

A) my carb linkage is sticking like a ****.
B) it's fuel starved and I need to adjust the inlets.

I'm pretty sure it is in the carb because my mom dropped the box it was in and I had to replace a lot of the top half because everything was bent out of shape.

oh and make sure ur secondary linkage is also still in the proper position and not fallen off
