NOS again

OK, here it is. I have an 85 gsl running a 76 large streetported 13-B/GSL-SE rotors, 48 ida blah blah blah. I bought the ZEX NOS brand, and a 5gal fuel cel but undecided on which fuel pump to use. I spent several hours reading prior posts on NOS install but no one mentioned the fuel pump they are use. Im kinda leaning towards the mercedes benz fuel injection fuel pump. Any suggestions on the f/p and regulator?

I can only imagine you're considering that pump because you have one readily at hand....if not, don't waste the money on a DC pump and get an Aeoromotive or Mallory unit that can flow at the 140 gph level. You'll have to use a regulator, but that's a plus since you can use one of the ports to feed the ZEX....which brings up the other problem...as far as I know, the ZEX is a self-contained box that doesn't actaully have a fuel solenoid per se....it uses its brain and a vacuum signal to kick up the duty cycle of the injectors already on the car....with 48 IDA carbs, you can't use a ZEX unless its a model I'm unaware of....

Yea the Zex unit connects to the tps for its signal. Wont work on a carbed car. Also its a dry nitrous kit, i believe they are a bit more dangerous than the wet kits. I sold my zex kit for these reasons and am currently looking for a wet kit to replace it.
