Norwegian 12A turbo with Agent bodykit

Well, another saturday well spent! i went for a two hour drive, and took some pictures of a friends recently finished 1.gen. It has a original 12A turbo, custom intercooler, S5 turbo, and a huge streetport! Damn, did it move!

The front spoiler was missing when he got the car from Japan, and they are kinda hard to get a hold of...

E-fan is in the make, along with Haltech, but the main priority was to get the car on the street for this summer! We live in Norway for crying out loud, we only have summer about 4 months!

damn straight. nice 1st gen with the real deal 12AT dude. my best friend's girlfriend is in norway right now, studying scandanavien culture. she'll get her masters in it soon and teach @ ucla. the pics and talk about norway show a *very* nice living condition and great people. never knew the Kronor was $3USD. she called her boyfriend one nite and said "I just spent $11 on a beer!!!!!"

Living in Norway is allright i guess, if you can live with 40 percent income tax... We have a growing rotary scene, mostly 3.rd gens, but there are som nice looking 1.st gens over here too. For instance, the president of the Norwegian wankel registre, has a widened 20B 1.st gen in the build... We dont have as many 1.st gens as you guys, so the ones we do have, tend to get a little bit more pampered than your ordinary sports car!

By the way, one dollar equals 6,5 kroner, still an expencive beer tough!

Wow, nice. I wish I could find something like that. Lucky lucky.

Anyone know if they still make those skirts and rear? Those would look so much better on the Veilside FB in the "Bumper" fitment thread.

Very nice, black is a great color.

Those wheels are nice, BUT they would look better with more of an outter lip and less fender/tire gap.

Still looking good, especally with the RHD mainly cuz you don't see many of those here in the states.

Great set up!
I like how he kept the original 12AT set up + modified it with the intercooler. Was the carburetor re-set with bigger jets?

This is my 12AT set up...

Its not my car like i said! Its a friends car, he lives in Mosjøen! Right next to Totte..
Car even sounded amazing, only problem was that the alternator started spinning loose at 10K RPM!

My car is grey, for the moment, its currently beeing stripped for paint due to a crazy woman that rear ended me.. It was her fault so the insurance company is paying for the damage, and a little more.. Im having it repainted in the original colour, stripped interior, roll cage and a new set of wheels. And when winter comes, all the already bought goodies, like a intercooler is mounted!

By the way, the original 12A turbo is FI, so he hasnt changed the jetting. Its still running the huge orginal 800CC ones!

I have done a search for the kit, but i cant seem to find it anywhere.. Maybe ill have Mindors contacts in Japan track down the supplier for it, but for now, its going to be all original, with a few twists.

I dont know exactly what type of Haltech he is going to use, i got kind of hung up in the amazing acceleration of the speedo! It was amazing, and i cant wait until i get my car back from the painter.. Then, its turbo time!!!!

Hallå,

That's fine, I'm in no rush with the windows. Bought an very good condition 818 last week. 87000 orginal km's on the speedo. Plastic on the inside of the doors were removed 2 weeks ago :-)

Hoping for a lot of rx cars on next years meets. I know of at least 3 that will be finished!

I am also wondering about a veteran Mazda, more specificly a 616. Have a look at autodb, there is a nice 4 door there..

Well, its time to go to the workshop and clean the engine i am selling tomorrow, have a good nights sleep.. I wont.. But atleast it means some money falling into the "i use to much on cars" fund!
