Talking noobie alert

I bought my first ever RX-7. I am in love!! It is a 85 GSL-SE and it is in great condition. Everything works!! This thing is still very powerful, for me at least,my last car was a VW Scirocco!! The compression seems decent, 7 on one rotor, 8 on the other. The Mazda tech told me 8.5 compression is a new engine so I feel alright. I love how easy it is to burn the wheels off!! Best of all, I only paid $550. Insane!

HOOOOLEE ****, you little bitch.

$550. That's more than a hell of a deal, I don't know what to say. Looks exactly like my car, except I paid $2200.

It's beautiful, man. Take good care of her. Please. Welcome to the forum, too.

First off, welcome to the forum!

You've got a great car there. Take good care of her. If you have any questions at all, I'm sure everyone will be more than happy to answer them.

A few quick helpers:
1. It's supposed to burn a bit of oil. It's actually designed to do that.
2. Spark Plugs - use NGK BR8EQ's only... accept no substitute
3. Read the FAQ at the top of the 1st gen section page. Plenty of awesome info in one place.

Keaponlaffen:
I have no CLUE where Manntis is, I haven't seen him in AGES. I heard someone say he was in the 'states on business or something.. But ever since he lost Pam I haven't seen him on here... It's too bad. He had an awesome car, and was a good guy on the forum. Oh well.

W.T.F. You guys state side drive me nuts! How the hell do you find such deals?
In canada thats a $3500.00 car minimum if it is as good as it looks.
First gens are becoming more rare around here, do you guys still see quite a few? Especially in good shape.
Anyway congrats dude, If you want to sell to me I'll double your money.(canadian play money of course)
