Hella makes them with a replaceable H4 bulb.

Bosch makes one too, less expensive than Hella I believe but of decent quality. Don't buy the junky "diamond cut" crap ones off ebay though.

I had excellent results by installing relays and heavy gauge power wires to the headlights. I also use the XtraVision bulbs (from Phillips I believe), which are actually brighter than the silverstars and half the cost.

You can also install an additional relay so that you can run the low and high beams at the same time. Very glad I did this too...

IPF also sells a very nice sealed beam conversion, as well as some extroidinary bulbs.

I got mine locally for $10 each, made by Matrix or something like that. But I've seen them on the web a couple places for about the same price.

That was a very good price,

I have been looking for a good source of these to use to run a group buy on them.

The Bosch ones are plastic lens, so you don't have to worry about stone chips or anything.

Yeah, but the plastic will fog up, unlike a glass lens, and the glass won't break as easily.

Mine haven't fogged up in 3 years of use. If you fail to use the rubber boots that go on the back, I suppose they might, but that's true of glass too.

Nor have they broken. And since when is glass less brittle than plastic?

See my post above. They have heavy duty plugs that can be installed. I made a custom set myself.

Mine just plugged into the stock harness, though I plan on making a relay system similar to Kentetsu's.

You can also buy a relay setup with all wiring. I will try to get pics of a set later today.
