non sealed beam headlight?
non sealed beam headlight?
does anyone know where to find a non sealed beam kit that looks like a normal headlight. instead of some off-road headlight clear thing? i had a set for my old bug and sold the bug. the lights were a gift back then and they cant remember where they got them. can anyone help me?
I had excellent results by installing relays and heavy gauge power wires to the headlights. I also use the XtraVision bulbs (from Phillips I believe), which are actually brighter than the silverstars and half the cost.
You can also install an additional relay so that you can run the low and high beams at the same time. Very glad I did this too...

Link to Crutchfield They have them, kinda pricey, but then again, I got my pair for $20 locally at Super AutoBacs out here.
Mine haven't fogged up in 3 years of use. If you fail to use the rubber boots that go on the back, I suppose they might, but that's true of glass too.
Nor have they broken. And since when is glass less brittle than plastic?
