No spark to my leading blaster coil

No spark to my leading blaster coil

I have to brand nem MSD blaster coils the trailing is firing just fine but my leading isnt. I went through it with a test light and i'm getting power but no spark car still runs but it'z just not as powerful WUT CAN I DO????

Assuming all the wires are hooked up correctly and making good contact, I'd check the ignitor. Leading is the one on the front of the distributor, I believe. Search or check the factory or Haynes manual and you can find the test procedure. Alternative is to swap leading and trailing. You can find used igniters from forum members or sometimes on eBay. Alternative is to switch to HEI (GM) igniters. I did a DLIDFIS setup recently with HEIs, and I love it!

the leading ignitor is the ignitor closest to the radiator. definatly check that first and foremost.
