no oil pump gasket

no oil pump gasket

so i bought the 110 dollar FEL-PRO gasket kit from autozone (it even had oil control o-rings!!).

but it DIDNT have an oil pump gasket.

what else can i use for a substitution? RTV? Type 2 sealant? Cork?

I think the gasket set you got from Auto Zone that has the oil o rings, are aftermarket ones & tend to fail at real low mileage. You could of got the same kit for $100.50 from MazdaTrix but have to buy the oil o rings seperate. Correct me if I'm wrong guys. The oil pump does not require a gasket.

The Oil Pump is a flush fit to the front housing and does not require a gasket. I just rebuilt my engine to find that out as well..
