NO luck on search: water~oil cooler removal

I'm about to do this in about 2 hours, i've looked it over, hayes isn't any help. Do i need to clamp teh 2 coolant hoses, or just let them drain a little? Also, how do you get to that other hose?

thanx a lot guys

what "other" hose?

in my opinion, it's easier to just drain the antifreeze into a clean container. it's a lot less messy that way.

Why are you removing it?
The other hose do you mean the steel oil line running from the front housing?
when you remove the two hoses you can just use a piece of pipe and put the two jioning together.

Drain the coolant, its easier. And remove the pipe from the FRONT cover. Hold the fitting and loosen the B nut on the pipe. Trying to remove the back fitting with it in the car is damn near impossible. No working room. I did it once and will never do it that way again. Then when you remove the 2 nuts that hold the cooler on, you lift up a little to get the studs to clear, then carefully manuver the whole thing out.
