Unhappy No Headlights

I go to work @ O'dark 30, Headlights pop up dash lights come on running lights are working High beam Flash works but no headlights WTF? Thanks Jimmy

I'm having the same issue right now. I just stuck a small screw behind the lever to hold it in place for the "flash to pass" lights to work. I understand that they used bad solder when building the light switches, seems to be a common problem. Fortunately, I have a used switch on the way. Good luck...

how do you test those fusible links anyway?

There is no good way to test them.. They can sometimes test fine and still be bad.. Replace the top and bottom with a 30 amp fuse and the middle one with a 60 amp fuse.. Like the one's here.. They plug right in and they are about 2.50 each.. You can get them at any parts store..

i thought the fusible link was the thing on the right hand side looking if your standing in front of the car on the wheel well, i saw it had like three seperate wires that say main head and something else

isnt that it?

Those are the fusible links.. but you can replace them with the above fuses.. The Beck/Arnley import parts catalog lists the above as replacements.. I have them in mine and they work great.
