No Fuel Pressure - New Fuel Pump & Filter - Another Restrictor?
I'll try to make this short.
Installed a new fuel pump & filter on my 84, ran while driving around the block then died and wouldn't restart, took the line off the carb and I have ZERO fuel coming out when the fuel pump kicks on (Yes it turns on, lines coming to and from are full of fuel)
Car also has an aftermarket FPR.
I think I remember hearing about something else up by the engine that can become clogged? I could be wrong just searching for answers since I'm quite lost.
Thanks

There is an anti rollover valve under there somewhere. Its a safety device that when a rollover occurs, a ball shuts off the supply of fuel so it doesnt continue to run for very long.
Side question - did you upgrade your fuel line size? That may cause issues later on as they are pretty small unless running an NA 12A (assuming you;re still running the 351).
Edit: Also there have been cases where the fuel pickup sock gets all clogged up with junk which also restricts amount of fuel. Also filter (stock one BARELY flows enough for a mildly upgraded 12A).

Cut and check valve is located on the driver's side frame rail. If plumbed backwards, no fuel will flow. If you've done a 351 V8 engine swap, you should install 3/8" supply and return lines along with the SE supply/return tank unit, assuming you have an S3 model.
