I had a similar problem in a install in a nissan SR20DE. Was a wet system with many safety features built in and I had to troubleshoot it for 2 weeks, it was not working at all. Ended up being a bad solenoid combined with a bad choice of jets.

Car is pushing 75hp extra now and my client has to bring the car almost weekly as my directions to check sparkplugs.

A nitrous oxide installation is very delicate in my opinion but it is a worth while mod specially for quick power. There is no easier (on the pockets initially) power adder in my opinion, of course that's if you don't want to go turbo or supercharger right away...

Car is flying now...
