Nikki rebuild kit
OK, I did a search thinking this would be easy: What is currently the best Nikki rebuild kit to buy. Mazdatrix doesn't sell them anymore and the last one I bought, about three years ago from Mazda, was $80. I like OEM, but not that much.
The best answer I could get from my search was this post from 2002 (anybody remember any of these guys)?:

So without any useful information I just went up to autozone and rolled the dice. For $26.99, this is what I got:
It's a GP Sorenson GF4353-3, autozone # 96-555
There are manifold gaskets which didn't come with the Mazda kit and it looks like it is of equal or better quality.
Looks good to me, all the parts look just like the last ones I put in.

I buy mine from AutoZone, it is a Standard brand or a repack by Standard. Has the aluminum washers and new *****. Around 30 bucks, maybe 2-3 days if they have to order one.
Man I need to read all of a post before replying. That's the kit and it is a good one, lol.
