Nikki Rebuild
I am planning on rebuilding one of my Nikkis to put on my 84 GSL. Other than a RB exhuast, the car is stock. It doesn't have any major performance issues, but I do think it lacks a little pep even for its 90hp engine. So I am just wondering what kind of performance gains/success people have had just by rebuilding their Nikkis.

Airflow is my life
Well if it was not functioning properly you will get a gain, but otherwise no gain. The carb is too small for the engine in an attempt to get some decent milage from the car.

Yaw is out of the RX7/carb biz, so I hear. And why Carl (RX7Carl) won't do a little "horn-tootin'" and mention his fabulous Sterling-modified Nikki carb is... ??

Maybe I should have just said this from the beginning, I was just wondering how much of a performance improvement could one expect by rebuilding the stock carb. I have to think that an original twenty year old carb will have some advantages if it were cleaned up. The other side of me tells me not to mess with it unless it has somthing wrong with it.
