please, alot of have done this upgrade with no problems. 20+ year old ignitors die. you should go to a junk and pick up some spares. if you bought them, they normally cost $10.00 or less.

So let me get this straight...

You tried a mod to your car, a mod that has no guarentees or warranties.

You fucked up said mod and now your car doesn't run.

And now you want some DONATED parts?

I've got a better idea, how about you play hide and go **** yourself instead? Once you've done that for a good long while, pry your head out of your *** and solve your own ******* problems.

see this is why i have 3 parts cars laying around along with buying spare parts when i have extra money even if i dont need them. why? because **** happens and things break.

go back double check everything including the parts you just put on there(to make sure that something isnt wrong with them). i think i saw a complete dizzy on ebay for around $20 the other day plus someone in 1st gen for sale section had some cheap too.

happy wrenching

I think it was sumed up in the first post. Go to the junk yard, get a new ignitor, replace the blown one. Simple. Its up to you if you wanna try the direct fire again, but from the sounds of it, you should just give me your car instead.

By your previous posts on this subject, I think it is pretty clear that you did not have it wired correctly to start with. I am glad that you now have it hooked up the right way, but the previous screwups might be what blew the ignitor.

You took on this mod to improve your car, but sometimes things don't go as planned. If you don't have the patience to figure this stuff out, and take the time to get it right, then don't mod your car. Don't even work on your car. Just drive it and pay someone who does have the patience and maturity to do it for you. You will be happier this way.

Otherwise, wipe your nose and wash the tears off your face . Then roll up your sleeves and do what any true lover of 7s would do..... This forum is here to answer your questions and to advise you when needed. It's not here for you to come and start bitching when things don't go the way you planned. If you get frustrated and just want to vent, then great, we all do it at some time or other. But don't start blaming those that helped you in the first place. Good luck with it.
