nikki modding?

whats required to get the nikki to support a street port (170-180hp)
is the limiting factor the jets, venturi, or both?

Both, along with air bleeds. But that doesnt mean you cant run a stock Nikki on a SP.

If you *are* gonna run a stock nikki on an SP and expect to get anything out of it, I'd suggest a paul yaw. Other than that, upgrade to aftermarket.

If you're not planning to race just yet and are getting the street port because it's convenient (ie: the engine's being rebuilt anyway, so let's port it) the stock nikki will *work* it will just limit you. You can keep it on until you have the $$ to go aftermarket.

Unless your running in a restricted class for racing and has to use the stock carb..I dont belive in PaulYaws modded Nikkis,

Sorry..

If your planing to run a stock carbed maybe rejetted...for a street port..

Check to see if the stock fuel pump is good enough..

BTW he wil be running a 79 intake
