Nikki Help!!!

Hey everyone I own a 84 gsl and I cant get the secoundaries working! I recently put a different carb on my car that was on one of my old 12as with blown water jacket seals! When that engine was in my car the carb working very nicely but ever since i put that carb on my car I cant get the secoundaries working right!
I checked all the vacum lines and im just stumped whenever I take her for a drive she just falls on her face once i get into higher rpm (3.5-6k). I removed the air filter and reved that carb up manually and the primarys are dumpin the fuel in but the scoundaries never kick in. Ive heard that if they were vaccum actuated they wont kick in till you get er out on the street but i did that and they definatly didnt open. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there something im over looking i can provide pictures of my setup if necisary thanks alot!

Hook them back up. Theres a hammer looking linkage that needs to be hooked up on the passenger side towards the firewall. I'll dig for the link

You know I was thinking the exact same thing. It seems like everybody has the same or similar problems with their 7's all at once. I honestly don't remember where the hose runs too, it's been so long since I've pulled the motor in my FB. Although it looks as though the secondaries are hooked up unless this is an old picture?

No problem at all. I was experiencing the no secondaries for a while too last year when I lived in Boise and I just chalked it up to a tired worn engine. I met up with the OP in the linked thread and we were tinkering with each other's FB's and he spotted it. We hooked it back up and she was back baby! LOL
